  • Once the risk assessment is complete, we will turn our attention to what auditing and monitoring needs to be done.

Colleen Gianatasio, MHS, CPC, CPCO, CRC, CDEO, CPC-P, CPMA, CPPM, CCS, CCDS-O, CHA, AHFI and AAPC Approved Instructor, has over 20 years of experience in the health insurance field. She has experience in customer service, claims, quality, coding and compliance. Colleen’s primary responsibilities are healthcare compliance, clinical documentation integrity for accurate coding and reimbursement and identifying fraud, waste and abuse. Colleen specializes in developing innovative coding curriculum and instruction to support compliance with federal guidelines and appropriate reimbursement processes. She is a certified AAPC instructor and enjoys teaching a variety of coding, documentation, auditing, and compliance classes. Colleen served as President of the AAPC National Advisory Board for the 2022-2025 term.
