Effective accounts receivable (A/R) management is a cornerstone of financial success for healthcare organizations. As patient financial responsibility continues to rise and insurance reimbursement processes grow increasingly complex, providers must adopt strategic approaches to managing outstanding balances. Poor AR management can lead to cash flow disruptions, increased write-offs, and strained patient relationships, ultimately impacting the overall financial stability of a practice or healthcare system.

This webinar provides healthcare professionals with a comprehensive understanding of best practices for A/R management and patient collections. Designed in alignment with industry standards, this webinar will deliver actionable insights and ideas that can immediately lead to revenue cycle performance improvement. Participants will gain a deep understanding of A/R workflows, the factors contributing to delays in payment, and the most effective collection strategies for both insurance payers and patients.

The webinar explores the critical components of a well-structured A/R process, from accurate charge capture and timely claims submission to effective denial management and follow-up. Additionally, it delves into patient communication strategies that encourage prompt payments while maintaining positive patient-provider relationships. Clear, transparent financial policies and proactive engagement can significantly reduce outstanding balances and improve collection rates.

Participants will also learn how to leverage technology to enhance A/R efficiency. The webinar covers how automation, artificial intelligence, and digital payment solutions can streamline collections, reduce administrative burdens, and enhance the patient experience. As more healthcare organizations adopt digital-first strategies, staying ahead of technological advancements is essential for maintaining competitive financial performance.

Compliance and ethical considerations are also a key focus of this course. Understanding state and federal regulations governing patient collections-such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and HIPAA-is crucial to ensuring that financial practices align with legal requirements while preserving trust and patient satisfaction.

Throughout the webinar, participants will gain insights from case studies and real-world scenarios, demonstrating how successful healthcare organizations have implemented best practices to reduce AR days and increase collections. Whether working in a small practice or a large healthcare system, professionals will leave this webinar with skills and strategies necessary to enhance cash flow, reduce bad debt, and create a more financially sustainable organization.

Participants will be equipped with more knowledge to make informed financial decisions, strengthen revenue cycle management, and improve patient collections—all while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical responsibility.
